Chilli Boys Supporters Packages is born

Chippa United Football Club (CUFC), has become the latest South African soccer outfit to offer a product that will help supporters.

The 'Chilli Boys', as they are popularly known, currently play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and based in the Eastern Cape, on Tueday last week, announced the launch of their first ever ‘Chilli Boys Supporters Packages’. 

The packages will include insurance products.

The Chilli Boys Supporters Package is underwritten by insurance company Momentum.

It has been available online for members from Tuesday, 8th August 2017.

Siviwe Mpengesi, Chippa United executive chairman expressed his delight at the launch of the Chilli Boys Supporters Package, “We are extremely excited to have launched our Chilli Boys Supporters Package, and we hope you will all be happy with the products we have made available for you.

This followed numerous pleas from our supporters nationwide, and we have now heeded your request, which promises peace of mind in trying times. We are committed as a Football Club to stand with our supporters through thick and thin," he said.

Jaco Du Plessis, director of Khumbula Impilo said, “We are very excited and honored to be partnering with Chippa United Football Club on this journey and we are looking forward to really adding value to the supporters and this great club. We would like to thank the Chairman, Mr. Mpengesi for the opportunity and we are looking forward to building a long-term partnership.” 

Mpengesi further added, "I would like to thank our partners, Khumbula Impilo, they have years of experience in supporters benefits and we are delighted to have partnered with them in this venture.”
