Congratulations Makhosi Khoza - you are a hero!

When the history of South Africa is written in a few years' time, some names are going to stand out: people like Thuli Madonsela, who won the admiration of the world for the quiet, efficient, honest way she fulfilled the role of Public Protector.

A name like Mcebisi Jonas will stand out - for refusing a R600 000 bundle of notes from the Guptas, with a promise of R6 million to come. Pravin Gordhan's name will be right up there too.

And for sure, Makhosi Khoza's name will stand out. For refusing to toe the line of a terminally corrupt ANC, standing up for the poor of South Africa - while her accusers are guilty of siphoning billions from the public kitty. Ironic, isn't it?

Other names will stand out too for different reasons.  Like President Zuma who has unquestionably been the worst president that SA has ever has, allowing corruption to fester unchecked down to the lowest levels of the ANC.

People like Parks Tau who presided over Johannesburg, with billions being ripped off in corrupt tenders. Imagine paying R600 for a light bulb!!?? And that was the least of the looting taking place.

But the time is coming - and is almost here - when this corrupt cancer that has denied tens of millions of Black folk decent education, housing, employment, water and sanitation will be ripped out by the roots.

The net is closing in. And when it is all over, people like Makhozi Khoza will be hailed as the real heroes of a new, more prosperous South Africa.

I salute you Ms Khoza. You stand for what is honest, right and true.
