Discrepancy! Discrepancy! Discrepancy in the ruling party!

Where have we gone wrong since the great 1994 aftermath of the attainment of the right of freedom of expression through voting for all was afforded? The day, the late former president Nelson Mandela walked, hand in hand with Winnie both hands raised in fist as a symbol of victory after twenty seven years in prison? A timeless classic picture of the two.

Who have we put in the administration of the running of this country? What kind of species have we entrusted our future into? Why so much disorganization and howling from society? Is there anybody listening? All the dissatisfaction and cries, are they being ignored and a simple mere matter of news for the day? It is about time, we vigorously engaged with these issues if we anticipate a better future for this country. We are slowly crumbling into the epicenter of prime disaster.  The upcoming consequences will be unbearable and the worst part being, they could have been avoided.

The truth is, the ruling party which has been ordained with the responsibility of representing the people is failing the people. Leadership is a problem. Yes, leadership is a problem. Work ethics are a problem. We have less leaders by day. Greed and personal satisfaction has taken over. The law has become just the idealist’s school of thought. The effectiveness of law in this country is officially ambiguous with a few exceptions here and there of success of which, isn’t supposed to be the case, ideally.

The problem of leadership emanates from the very top, the presidency. Yes, president Zuma, you have the political charisma but your personality and ideals are not suitable for the seat of president of the Republic. We acknowledge your comradeship skills and contribution during the apartheid regime. You indeed contributed towards the achievement of freedom for the country. But you are not suitable to be a president. You have failed. It is unnecessary to reiterate charge after charge that is levied against you because, it is always in the news. However, interestingly enough, you are never guilty by ‘law’. But the truth is, someone has to be guilty of all this disorganization pertaining to leadership.  So when is it ever going to end? It seems your tactics continuously trickle down through the whole administration. We are lacking a, Lead by example scenario here! Of course, not to advocate you are responsible for everybody else’s behavior.

The motion is, if you really care about this country, let this be your last term in office as the President of the Republic. Please. I believe, something will be done to fix the mess you have caused after you exit. We will afford you the respect of not throwing you out. Even though, it is highly deserved.
