Dear ANC and ANCWL
It is with concern that I read your call to action for the ANC to cut ties with Absa Bank. Your intentions are clear that you want to see the bank closing down in South Africa. I do, however, have a question for you…
Absa Bank currently employs around 60,000 people, both directly and indirectly, the majority of which are black people in South Africa. The remainder are from all races. Now, here is my question:
Why would the ANC and their affiliates want this bank to be closed down or forced out of South Africa?
Will this not lead to a large number of people being unemployed? Will this not affect tens of thousands of families, especially black families, in this very difficult times?
What are your reasons behind this? Why would you embark on such actions to hurt your own people? Is this not rather a call to action against your own followers and people?
Just a concerned citizen.
