Technological emergence vs unskilled local communities

Day in and day out, teachers and experts in technological fields emphasise how being technologically educated can transform one into a bigger world of innocent-lavish lifestyle.it is a great motive to invest in education hence its fruits are/will be attached to you for life.
In my area most people depends on the mines as their source of income.statistically academically driven people locally are less than non-academicals which makes them labours in numbers.currently there are trending rumours talking the TECHNOLOGICAL EMERGENCE into local mines.as it is explained by the experts, they had foreseen it as fast producing plan compared to ordinary mining systems.the faster the production, the less the mine period of stay which means soon enough poverty will reunite with us.This new mining system will only benefit the inverstors not the community hence, they are remotely operated which requires skilled personnel never mind the mechanical crew.
If each machine can replace an estimated number of 13 labours, literally community is facing serious disaster.community depends on the very same mine regardless of win or loose.
This technological introduction will accelerate the production but sarbotage the community as they depends on it.many questions are being asked daily like "WHAT IF WE BURN DOWN THESE MACHINES?" WHAT IF WE CLOSE DOWN THE MINE?"....
In every tribal authorities falling under local mines the ratio is 1:10 which means 10 people depends on one person who is working at the mine.should the mine take into consideration the technological system of mining therefore we should expect ten funerals each months.
Something needs to be done or looked into about this technological emergence.
I think we should unite as community to ensure the empowerment of skills development by the local mines.we should be technologically skilled too.its our right.
