The decision on who to vote for is very simple!

Much has been said about voting or not voting and who to vote for. I believe that both decisions are very straightforward.

To vote is a must and anyone who doesn’t take the time to cast their vote must remember that you had the power to change and if you get the same old same then for the next 5 years you are going to have to swallow hard and accept the status quo.

In terms of to whom to vote for and the choice is very easy.

If you want no jobs; a shrinking economy; endemic corruption; underprivileged education; shocking health care; police brutality; no service delivery, waste; no water; no toilets; no power; waste; higher taxes; etc etc etc then your choice is the ANC. Just remember that the ANC of today is a far cry from the one that produced Nelson Mandela.

If you want drama; chaos; rumbles of corruption; strikes; rhetoric; etc etc etc then vote for the EFF. Just remember that not so long ago Julius, Floyd et al were entangled in huge corruption scandals.

If you want a semblance of good governance; systems that work; an investment friendly environment; job opportunity; public servants that serve the public; education that educates; etc etc etc then your choice could be the DA.

That being all said the power to effect change is all within ourselves and if we waste that opportunity then all we can do for the next 5 years is cry the beloved country because the current regime is not going to make things any better.

You have followed your heart for 22 years now is the time to follow your head!
