The media has lost the plot and found the race card

Last night while watching the news, I was dismayed to see that after numerous stories relating to human rights and the "struggle", the SABC saw it fit to follow with a story on so called racism at a Spur.

Why is the media doing this?  How is South Africa ever suppose to heal from racism if the racism card keeps getting played?  After watching the complete video, any sane person can see that it is not an act of racism.

The argument could have just as easily developed between two white parents or two black parents. What we are actually witnessing here, is just two adults behaving badly. How does this even make headlines in the first place, did nothing more important happen in South Africa on this day? Come on!

You know who is responsible for racism in this country? Not blacks or whites or any other demography - it is the media. It is time the media look at how they report on matters.  They are suppose to be objective and get the news and facts out there. But more and more we see that reporting is not about the facts anymore, it has become a thing of sensationalising the loss of others, the mistakes of others etc, in order to turn a dime - to sell newspaper.

Who is going to be the voice of reason, when the media can no longer report objectively?
