The Rot in Government Parastatals Continues

Interesting story about ESKOM in the news - this parastatal has been making the news in the last couple of days, i.e. Strong arming coal suppliers, selling out coal mines to the Gupta's and now the latest, i.e. The Keoberg boiler saga with Westinghouse.

If the News24 article is to be believed, the mind boggles at the massive gaping wholes in the procurement process - Tender Board members unqualified to make a decision(they should not be there if they can't), these same members accepting a "Holiday" at the expense of a bidder etc, etc.

Now I know why Molefe does not want to consider partial privatation - more skeletons will come out of Eskom's cupboard
