Valhalla or Hell?

Reading about the Mosque to be built in Valhalla my first reaction was like many, there go property prices. The call to prayer every day, 5 times a day is not a pleasant sound to those of us not of the muslim faith. While I accept that it an itegral part of their religion why should those of us not of it be subjected to it?
I then read, today in a further comment, that they will use electronic means to broadcast the call to prayer rather than the all pervasive loudhailer. Props to them for considering those not of their faith. Well done. But then again, is this guarenteed not to suddenly become the norm after the mosque is built? There are none. So in the contract for the land should be a clause agaiinst the use of the loud hailer and should it be used an astronomical fine would be applied.

Then there are the isis claims. Really, talk about short sighted and small minded. Firstly, there are a number of reports that isis is on the decline. Secondly, this could also be monitored by the community simply by a few learning the language and attending the services to see if radicalisation is happening. Unlikely but why not.
My last comment is that your behaviour plays right into the hands of the radicals who can point a finger and wail, "you see, you see, they all hate us, defend yourselves, do unto them before they do unto you."
You give them license to play the victim and give their cause a rightiousness. Deny them that and they lose the high ground. Don't start the fight, but if it comes end the fight they way they want it.
Don't be the bigot, rise above it. You know that is what is right.
