Where are all these organization like Outa, Crime Watch, Helen Suzeman Foundation and AfriForum and why are they benevolent to this bank cartels? They are usually at the forefront and very vocal whenever there is any form of corruption or irregularity within government or SOE or maybe they are the benefactors of these cartels by these major banks at the expense of the poor South African?
Watch the space these banks will walk free with a minor slap on the wrist like your constructions companies during constructions of world cup 2010 stadium and the price fixing of bread by Tiger brands ect. On the same wave length the taming of these bank cartels is questionable and leave much to be desired considering the fact that such major banks have closed the accounts of the Gupta’s business and treasure minister and deputy president are rumored to be shareholders and sit in the boards of some of these banks that are implicated.
On the other hand the ruling party is preparing themselves for the highly contest TOP(6) Executive positions which will see the current state president being the president of the country and no longer the president of the ruling party post 31st December 2017. The question is will history repeat is like in 2017 when former president was recalled before he could finish his second term, should the current deputy president become the president of the ruling in 2018? Is this a reasons why the ruling party women’s league prematurely endorsed the former AU chairperson as their preferred presidential candidate during the executive election conference of the ruling party as the count measure to avoid humiliation of the state president nonetheless it remain to be seen how all this unfold in the latter.
