WINDOWS 10
Also, note the decline of CONTROL PANEL, which gave the user more supervision.
Every new version of Windows allows Microsoft to control the user more and more. There are an increasing number of subtle web channels to do this with each "upgrade". r what was happening on his or her device.
In my opinion, Microsoft is and always has been a CONTROL FREAK. And now they're trying to FORCE Windows users to upgrade. XP was their best product, small, efficient and relatively simple. (It still works perfectly if you can get past the only channel Microsoft uses to try and render it useless...the Activation Routine). Later versions of Windows are gargantuan, complex and more sluggish. And the bigger the program the more chance of bugs, surely?
As Albert Einstein said "Simplicity is Genius"No thanks to Windows 10! I wish to remain relatively computer literate and in control of my desktop PC.
Yours faithfully,
