It’s no longer just a science fiction fantasy – living and working on Mars could become a reality as soon as 2030.

IF NASA has its way, humans will be living on Mars 25 to 30 years from now in a colony very much like the illustration above. A fleet of spacecraft and rovers roaming above and on Mars have increased our knowledge of the Red Planet hugely and scientists believe people can live there without being dependent on Earth. NASA’s plan to colonise Mars consists of three stages.
