Sometimes we face curveballs on the road to achieving our dreams – little hiccups that either delay us or may even halt our dreams permanently. Many times these curveballs are things that can be fixed with a little help – whether physically, financially or emotionally.
The video below depicts a similar story. Duncan Johnson is a promising saxophone player who recently got an audition to a prestigious music school but just before his audition his saxophone was stolen. Taking away his dream opportunity and his livelihood, and he was distraught. Duncan had two options – to give up on his dream or apply for a loan, which would help him to buy a new saxophone in time for his audition.
Duncan chose the second option and applied for a personal loan from Old Mutual Finance and he bought a new saxophone and played his heart out at his audition. In turn, he was accepted into his dream music school.
