4 arrested for allegedly selling drugs to Bloem school kids

Bloemfontein – Four men accused of selling drugs to school children were arrested in Bloemfontein during a sting operation, Free State police said on Wednesday.

"Houses in Freedom Square and Heidedal were identified where school children are believed to be buying dagga and drugs from," said Constable Peter Kareli

When the police arrived at one of the house in Freedom Square, a 38-year-old man was packaging dagga, with an estimated street value of R30 000, in small paper pipes.

In another house in Heidedal, small packets of Cat (Methcathinone), worth an estimated R500 were found hidden in a wardrobe.

Two other suspects were arrested during stop and search and were found with small packets of Cat worth R500.

The four men were expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court soon.
