Johannesburg - Seven people were arrested after drugs with an estimated street value of R15m were confiscated in a Sandton hotel room, the Hawks said on Friday.
Spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said police on Thursday found 42kg of methamphetamine, commonly known as tik, in one of the rooms at a hotel in Sandton.
"Swift investigation led to the arrest of four Nigerian nationals, one local male and two females. One suspect was found with a further 14kg of tik in his vehicle," he said.
