Wakkerstroom - Eight men were arrested after the body of a farmworker was found in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga on Wednesday, police said.
They were arrested in Daggakraal and Mooibank farm near Wakkerstroom on Wednesday.
Sergeant Gerald Sedibe said the men allegedly terrorised, robbed and stole live stock from the community of Daggakraal and Amersfoort.
Sedibe said the farmworker, believed to be in his 30s, was allegedly attacked and murdered by the group when he tried to stop them from stealing horses on the farm.
His body was found at 05:00 on Sunday morning.
They will appear in the Wakkerstroom Magistrate's Court soon.
