Ambulance assistant killed in accident

Johannesburg - Western Cape emergency services said on Saturday that an ambulance assistant had been killed and her two children injured in an accident in Vredenburg.

EMS spokesperson Robert Daniels said she had been travelling with her two children when their vehicle collided with another at the St Helena Bay Veldrif turnoff.

"Two people from the other vehicle as well as the two children are in a critical condition," said Daniels.
