Angry Gauteng protesters stone cars

Johannesburg - The R554 was blocked to traffic on Thursday morning because residents of Eikenhof, south of Johannesburg, were throwing stones at passing cars, metro police said.

Chief-Supt Wayne Minnaar said two illegal shacks were demolished in the area on Tuesday, angering residents.

"Motorists can use the Golden Highway as an alternative."

Happens to me all the time. Get angry at myself for making the wrong decisions. Take it out on someone else, and then make the same mistake again (in 4 years’ time).

Then comes the standard comment from "Wayne Minaar we are monitoring the situation'' Hell man if you have someone stoning cars it is dangerous get hit and you die!!!Why do the residents take this out on innocent civilians???If you are that angry march to the council or local political office WHOM 62% OF YOU VOTED FOR AND TAKE OUT YOUR FRUSTARTIONS...Stone my car and believe me I stop and then we make the NEWS...

Good. Now let us see if the ANC who are in charge up there in Gauteng are going to institute a hearing and investigate why they were evicted like down here in the Cape. The ANC jumped on that band wagon after the Lwandle squatters were evicted by SAPS, SANRAL using a court order issued by the high court. Now they waste money on a ridiculous hearing. The squatters were on private land down here owned by SANRAL and were given the heave ho, so now I wait to see if the ANC will institute similar inane hearings up there in Jozi.
