Body found in burning car

Johannesburg - A body was found in the boot of a burnt car on Monday after fire-fighters extinguished the fire along Church Street in Florida Park, Johannesburg emergency services said.

"Emergency services got a call that a vehicle was on fire and after they extinguished the fire they found that inside the boot of the vehicle there was a body," spokesperson  Robert Mulaudzi said.

"The body was not really burnt badly and could be recognised. The case has been handed over to the police for investigation. There was no one else around the vehicle when we arrived on the scene."
