Fire above Westlake in Cape Town (Dani Jones, News24 User)

Cape Town - Residents of Cape Town neighbourhoods affected by the fires currently raging through parts of the South Peninsula have spoken of having to evacuate their homes as the flames got nearer.

The fire started in Muizenberg on Sunday afternoon and spread to different areas, including Noordhoek, Hout Bay and Westlake due to strong wind.
