Cape Town - The fires that have plagued Cape Town's south peninsula this week are currently contained, Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Theo Layne said on Friday morning.
The city is still monitoring active hotspots, which include the Tokai, Chapman's Peak, Muizenberg and Noordhoek areas.
