Johannesburg - The OR Tambo community hall in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, has been torched, the City of Cape Town said on Sunday.
"Yesterday [Saturday] the city’s sport, recreation and amenities department hosted a youth games event at the OR Tambo Hall in Khayelitsha," said mayoral committee member for community services Belinda Walker in a statement.
"Reports have come in that thirty participants fell ill due to suspected food poisoning. These participants were taken to the Khayelitsha Hospital for medical treatment and overnight observation."
