Pietermaritzburg - KwaZulu-Natal police on Friday were investigating a bomb threat made at the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Pietermaritzburg earlier in the day.
"It is alleged that a switchboard operator received a bomb threat via a telephone call," spokesperson Thulani Zwane said.
"No arrest has been made at this stage."
Earlier on Friday, a News24 correspondent at the scene said authorities were called after a threatening call came through at 09:20.
"The fire and rescue teams are here, as well as
sniffer dogs. Most of the staff are standing outside," he said.
