Durban - A KwaZulu-Natal provincial team of detectives has launched a manhunt for two men who are responsible for the killing of four people at a tavern in Fine Town late on Friday.
The attackers entered the tavern and fired shots randomly with an assault rifle. They fled the scene in a white Toyota Quantum with unknown registration number.
“The motive for the shooting is still unknown,” Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini told News24. “The police are, however, following several leads to arrest them.”
The deceased are Siphosakhe Dlamini, Xolani Fiva, Lemewane Mokhele and Vusi Mokhele. Their ages have not been confirmed yet.
Four other unidentified victims were hospitalised.
Dlamini said information from the members of the community was being followed.
