"Counterfeit goods to the value of R9m, illicit cigarettes worth R500 000 and six boxes of Khat were confiscated. Twenty  undocumented foreign nationals were arrested. Meanwhile, two Ethiopian men, aged 28 and 29, were arrested for possession of drugs and illicit cigarettes," he said.

“This is but one of a series of operations that we will conduct to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of the province. Our mission is to restore law and order”.

Meanwhile, in Parow a similar operation was conducted.

Seven people were arrested for the possession of stolen property, drugs and counterfeit goods. The latter included CDs laptops and cameras, which were also confiscated.
