Cyclist dies in F State collision

Johannesburg - A cyclist died after he collided with a motorbike in Bloemfontein on Friday, paramedics said.

"A report from the scene indicates that the cyclist, a man in his sixties, was travelling contra-flow [along Curie road] when he collided with a biker, said Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.

He said paramedics found both men lying on the ground, the cyclist with life threatening injuries and the biker with serious injuries.

"Netcare advanced life support paramedics worked fervently for about 30 minutes to resuscitate the man.

Peace be in that family who lost their beloved family member and may the biker be healed in the name of Jesus Christ with his family being comforted by the hope and faithfulness of Jesus Christ. Keep it up Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors etc. God bless all the good works of your hands.

This is considerably unfair!!, SA roads laws still continue to lack any form of solution ( regarding motorbikes n cyclists deaths ).I'm entirely convinced that in SA cyclists n motorbiker riders are being systematically and deliberately underestimated by other motorists drivers••
