Johannesburg - The extradition hearing of convicted UK drug trafficker and fraudster Martin Evans will be heard next week, SABC news reported on Monday.
The 52-year-old man appeared in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday and the case was postponed to next week.
Evans' extradition hearing will be held on Monday, 11 August.
He was arrested at a security complex in Midrand on Saturday night by police and Interpol.
Evans, from Swansea in Wales, had been on the run since 2011 when he failed to return to prison after being given a short release of a few days.
He was serving 21 years for conspiracy to supply cocaine, and fraudulent trading.
