Paramedics at the scene of a fatal crash in Hatfield, Pretoria (Netcare 911)

Pretoria - Three people were killed when a minibus taxi and a car collided in Pretoria on Monday morning, emergency workers said.

Paramedics had to extricate a woman in her early 30s who was trapped in the car, said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.

"She was assessed. Her vital signs were weak. She had to be resuscitated but unfortunately died," said Bodasing.
