Eastern Cape man held over drugs

Johannesburg - A 26-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of drugs in Bhisho, Eastern Cape police said.

The man was caught in Tyutyu location after police were alerted to drug dealing, said police spokesperson Siphokazi Mawisa.

Police confiscated 23 Mandrax tablets and two bags of dagga with an estimated street value of R1 600.

The man would appear in the Zwelitsha Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, said Mawisa.
