Kuruman - Two farmworkers appeared briefly in the Kuruman Magistrate's Court on Tuesday morning for the killing of Christo Kruger late last month near this Northern Cape town.
Frank Itumelen, 22, and Ben Thabo, 19, were arrested in Bankarra outside Kuruman for allegedly shooting Kruger, 64, on his farm Byron on May 28.
Kruger went to investigate after his dogs became restless and was shot at his back door. Nothing was stolen.
Both the accused had worked on the farm in the past, police spokesperson Sergio Kok told News24.
