Johannesburg - Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa on Tuesday offered his condolences to the family and friends of slain musician Nkululeko "Flabba" Habedi.

The 38-year-old was fatally stabbed at his home in Alexandra, Johannesburg, in the early hours of Monday morning. His girlfriend Sindisiwe Manqele was arrested.

"I was deeply saddened to learn of the violent death of the popular rap and hip-hop musical artist," Mthethwa said in a statement.
