Johannesburg - A 54-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly being caught speeding twice in Midrand and Johannesburg, metro police said on Sunday.
The man, driving a white BMW 325, was first caught by Tshwane metro police driving at 192km/h in a 120km/h zone on the N1, Johannesburg metro police Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.
"But he failed to stop for officers and as he entered the Johannesburg area, he was caught at a speed of 200km/h by JMPD officers who managed to stop him and then arrest him.
"He was taken back to Pretoria where he was detained and will have to also appear in the Midrand Magistrate's Court for speeding."
