Cape Town - Greenpeace director Kumi Naidoo has requested an urgent meeting with the Minister of State Security David Mahlobo, following revelations by leaked documents from State Security Agency (SSA).
According to the so-called spy cables nine months before the 2010 G20 Summit in Seoul, a request was made by South Korea to SSA to have specific security assessments on three men, one being Naidoo.
He said: “It saddens me to learn that I am likely under scrutiny by intelligence services in South Africa.”
