Johannesburg - One hundred and twenty nine health workers arrested for staging a sit-in at the Free State health department are expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
At their previous court appearance on 1 September, the State offered to drop the charges against them provided they agreed to no longer partake in any illegal gatherings. Only one agreed to this.
The workers were arrested in July after they took part in what the Treatment Action Campaign described as a vigil against the failings and collapse of the Free State health system.
