Rescue workers attend the scene of a taxi accident on the R501 outside of Carletonville. Three people died and fifteen are reported injured. (ER24)
Johannesburg - Two people died and 12 others were injured when a taxi and car collided on the R501, about 25km from Potchefstroom, paramedics said on Saturday.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said the taxi veered off the road and rolled into the veld.
"The patients sustained minor to critical injuries. Patients were treated and transported to local hospitals," she said in a statement.
