Durban - KwaZulu-Natal police on Tuesday offered a R50 000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder of a school principal.
Provincial police spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane said Bishopstowe police were investigating a case of murder after Nokuthula Magwenyana was killed in the Maqonqo area on Table Mountain Road on August 25.
"A reward of up to R50 000 has been offered. Anyone with information can contact Colonel CC Wiles at Mountain Rise police station on 033 3879621 or our crime stop number 08600 10111."
Police have also offered rewards in other cases.
Cato Manor police are looking for Nkosinathi Dladla, who is wanted in connection with the killing of Thulani Dladla, 29, on Ridgeview Road, Cato Manor, on November 29, 2014. Zwane said a reward of up to R50 000 was also being offered.
In another case, police are investigating the murder of Busisiwe Nguta, 29, who was killed at Sangci Bar, Cato Manor, on November 30, 2014.
"The suspect is still at large and anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the local police station or our crime stop number 08600 10111. A reward of up to R50 000 is offered to anyone with information," Zwane said.
Zwane added that Ntabamhlophe police were investigating four counts of murder after four people burnt to death in a house in Manjokweni area at Ntabamhlophe near Estcourt on August 8, 2015.
"We are also offering a R50 000 reward for any information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects. Any information about the whereabouts of the suspects can be directed to a branch commander captain HD Mkhize on 036 3533 434 or our crime stop number."
