Johannesburg - A woman was killed when her vehicle plunged off a cliff at Monteseel, near Hammarsdale in KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday, emergency medical services said.
Her body was found after rescuers abseiled down the cliff to the vehicle, which had plunged around 100m down the cliff, said spokesperson Robert Mckenzie.
Search dogs and a police helicopter were used to scour the dense and bushy cliff area.
"However no one else was found," he said.
The helicopter was also used to assist in the recovery of the woman's body.
