Man accused of raping KZN jogger back in court

Durban - The man accused of attacking and raping a jogger in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, while she was out on a morning run is expected to appear in the Durban High Court on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old was denied bail during his last court appearance.

The Johannesburg businesswoman, 38, was allegedly tackled and pulled into a ditch and raped at knife point on Curry's Post Road in Howick on June 13.

She had been visiting her parents in Howick over the long weekend.
