Man critical after Kempton Park shooting

Johannesburg - A man, believed to be in his 50s, is in a critical condition after he was shot at in Nimrod Park, Kempton Park, paramedics said on Tuesday.

The man was found lying on the ground in Lechwe road following a shooting incident on Monday night, Netcare911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said.

He was airlifted from the scene to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The cause of the shooting was unclear.

Police could not immediately provide details on the shooting.
