Pretoria - A man died and three other people were injured after a bakkie and SUV collided head-on in Pretoria on Sunday morning, paramedics said.
"Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway to be littered with accident debris and the twisted frames of a [Toyota] Fortuner and an Isuzu bakkie. Some of the injured were still trapped in the wreckages," spokesperson Chris Botha said.
The man died at the scene while a woman and two other men sustained serious injuries. The injured were taken to different hospitals in the area.
The cause of the crash was being investigated.
