Man killed when car veers off road

Johannesburg - A man was killed in a accident in Winklespruit, KwaZulu-Natal when his car veered off the road, paramedics said on Saturday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said a report from the scene indicated that the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided into a palisade fence before coming to rest against a tree.

"Netcare 911 and provincial paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man still seated in the vehicle. Tragically, after he was examined they found that he had died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries that he sustained," he said.
