Manhunt launched for Welkom church robbers

Johannesburg - Police have launched a manhunt for two men who allegedly robbed a church in Welkom, Free State police said on Wednesday.

"Police in Welkom are looking for two neatly dressed men after a church was robbed of cash," said Constable Kethabile Mofokeng.

The robbery took place on Friday morning after the church caretaker opened the building.

They entered the church and held an employee at gunpoint.

Three people were tied up with cable ties and cash was demanded.

A woman employee was allegedly assaulted during the robbery.

"The suspects demanded [the] safe keys [that] were allegedly taken from her handbag. The safe of the church was opened and [an] undisclosed amount of cash was taken."

A case of armed robbery was opened.

Cancel the manhunt and instead ask somebody with a "relayshinship" with Jesus to ask Jesus where to find the robbers. Easy as that.

Get a life atheist trolls..it is super annoying reading how you are always so insulting to people whose beliefs are different to yours. I suppose if it was a filling station rather than a church that was robbed, you would not even have bothered to comment!

Friend of satan (athiest) everything belongs to God. He does not need money. All He wants and desire is for us to serve Him with everything in us. He even made you for the day of judgement so that His name can be honored. Every knee shall bow before Him and every tongue will confess that He is God! You will indeed get your change also my friend.

There is no problem with who GOD is the problem is that humanity has forgotten who they are! These robbers are innocent in their state of being even though they are weakened by the desires of their souls.
