Model boss asked me if we could 'do it again' - rape accuser

Johannesburg - Dawie de Villiers, the founder of a modelling company, asked one of his models whom he allegedly raped, if they could do it again, the High Court sitting in Palm Ridge heard on Tuesday.

This was about three years after the alleged rape took place, the 20-year-old woman told the court.

De Villiers is facing 38 counts of among other things, rape, sexual and indecent assault, sexual grooming and possession of child pornography. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Earlier on Tuesday, the woman told the court that De Villiers had sent the aspiring model a friend request on Facebook in 2010, asking that she join his company.

He then became her modelling teacher. During what De Villiers had said was a bikini photo shoot, the girl told the court that he overpowered her and raped her in his studio.

When they saw one another at another shoot shortly after the incident, De Villiers warned the girl, who was 15 years old at the time, that she should not tell anyone about what happened, then gave her a morning-after pill.

She then ceased any and all contact with the 35-year-old Kempton Park businessman.

Three years later, she received an invite on an instant messaging app BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) from someone called David Toddy, the woman told the court.

"I got this invite on BBM by the name David Toddy, so I accepted and then a couple of minutes later the name changed to Dawie CEO something...

"He told me that he didn't rape me, that we made love and then asked if we can do it again," the woman said.

"And then he asked me for pictures of my vagina and he told me he's got naked pictures of me as well, and if I don't send the pictures, he's going to post the pictures."

When she asked him what naked pictures he was talking about, De Villiers allegedly said,"You know what I'm talking about. While we had sex I recorded it", the court heard from excerpts of the BBM correspondence between the two which were read out in court.

The court also heard that De Villiers sent the girl a message which said "Can you send me a pussy pic?", to which the woman responded: "You fucking wish. You raped me and you're going to pay for it."

The matter was adjourned when De Villiers's lawyer Jaques Pienaar made an application to the court that he be granted access to his client's laptop, which was in police custody, before continuing further with his cross-examination.

The trial would continue on Wednesday.
