N Cape man stabbed to death

Johannesburg - A 25-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her husband to death at Magojaneng near Hotazel in Kuruman, Northern Cape police said on Friday.

"It is alleged that the woman stabbed the man in the neck with a knife," said spokesperson Olebogeng Tawana.

He said the woman and her 49-year-old husband apparently had an argument on Thursday night.

"She grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the neck and he died while [being] admitted to the local hospital."

He said the woman was arrested on Friday when she visited the hospital.

She has been charged with murder and will appear in the Mothibistad Magistrate's Court on Monday.
