Johannesburg - There was no sign of a fire at the Reserve Bank offices in Pretoria following an evacuation of the building on Tuesday morning, Tshwane Emergency Services said.
"We couldn't find any fire. [We didn't see] any smoke. We went floor by floor and we couldn't find any fire," spokesperson Johan Pieterse said.
He said the department had received a call at about 08:00 after a fire alarm on the second floor was activated. The entire building was searched and by 09:30, staff were allowed to return.
