Johannesburg - Over R2.2m worth of cigarettes have been confiscated in two separate incidents, Limpopo police said on Friday.
On Thursday police followed up on information about suspicious activities at a house in Tshilwavhhusiku, near Thohoyandou, and saw three people trying to run away, police spokesperson Ronel Otto said.
Police caught them and searched a small truck and a bakkie, leading to the discovery of over R2m worth of cigarettes.
