Pretoria - Further particulars in the theft, fraud and corruption case of the police crime intelligence unit's former chief financial officer Solly Lazarus will be filed on Wednesday.
The Pretoria Magistrate’s Court ruled in February that the trial of Lazarus and the unit’s former head of logistics, Hein Barnard, would begin in July.
They are accused of stealing from a crime intelligence fund through a front company. Both were suspended.
Lazarus and Barnard were initially accused of stealing R1.1 million, but that amount was reduced to R370 000 on July 17 2013.
