Johannesburg - The trial against a man facing 152 charges, including 20 of rape, was postponed at the High Court sitting in Palm Ridge on Monday.
The matter was expected to resume on October 12.
Peter "Dashboy" Khoza is alleged to have targeted girls around Tembisa during his rape spree in 2007 and 2011, but was also linked to rape cases in other provinces.
His youngest victim was only 6 years old at the time. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
During his last appearance, the court heard Khoza had raped a 12-year-old girl in Tembisa in the presence of her friends.
One of the girls told the court the three friends had come across Khoza on Youth Day in 2012 while selling bangles to people in the township.
Khoza allegedly told the girls to show him to a nearby crèche in the area.
He allegedly walked them to a bush; laid out two blankets and told them to go to sleep. He then proceeded to undress one of the girls and told her to shake herself. The girl was apparently only dressed in a T-shirt.
When the other girls tried to protect her, Khoza chased them away.
The two girls then came across a man and after telling them what had happened, the man rushed them to hospital.
After alerting police, the girls returned to the area where they had left her friend, but found she and Khoza were no longer there.
