Johannesburg - A G4S security vehicle was shot at and robbed in Rosebank, Johannesburg, on Wednesday, Gauteng police said.

"A G4S security van was shot at by three suspects travelling in a BMW," police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini said.

They opened the back of the van and took a "substantial amount" of money.

No one was injured.

The suspects were still at large.

The shooting happened after 09:00 on the corner of Oxford and Baker roads.
