Pretoria - The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is expected to release the final results of its Student Representative Council (SRC) elections on Tuesday morning.
"The provisional results were released to students. They have 24 hours to lodge any issues in writing to the chief electoral commissioner," spokesperson Willa de Ruyter told News24.
"The final results will be released... [on Tuesday] morning."
Economic Freedom Fighters members and rival organisations clashed at the TUT Pretoria West campus on Thursday ahead of the SRC elections.
The members had gathered to listen to EFF leader Julius Malema.
On Saturday, two EFF members were hospitalised after being stabbed at TUT residences.
The party's TUT Pretoria West branch secretary Thuto Nthulenyane told News24 at the time that members of the SA Students Congress (Sasco) were allegedly responsible for the attacks on the two.
Sasco admitted to slapping and punching the two, but blamed the EFF for prompting it by targeting one of its own members.
De Ruyter said a report on the incident was expected to be submitted soon.
"We condemn violence like that. There will be disciplinary proceedings for any identified perpetrators."
